Getting started

This dashboard aggregates and AI-enriches customer reviews for Boveda, Vivi, and Skipper across Amazon and your website (Okendo). Use the sidebar to switch between Overview (all-brand snapshot), Product Drilldown (deep dive on one product), Issues & Trends (recurring themes across products), and Social Sentiment (Reddit mentions of your brands, outside of formal reviews).

The filters at the top of the sidebar (Brands, Source, Vertical) and the controls in the top-right (date range, Pos/Neg toggle) apply across every page, narrowing them down updates all pages at once.

Filters

Brands - Show or hide Boveda, Vivi, or Skipper. Turning a brand off removes its reviews everywhere until turned back on.

Source - Show or hide Amazon or Okendo reviews. Some products combine reviews from both sources automatically when they're recognized as the same physical item, the Source column/badge will show both in that case.

Vertical - Filters Boveda's catalog by use case (Cigar, Music, Cannabis, Food & Other), plus a dedicated Skipper toggle. Turning a vertical off hides only products tagged with it; products not yet tagged with a vertical stay visible regardless of which toggles are on.

Date range (top right) - Presets (last 7/30/90 days), year-to-date, specific quarters/years, or a custom range. This is the single most common reason numbers "change" between visits, always check what range is currently selected before comparing to a previous look.

All / 1-3★ only / 4-5★ only (top right) - Restricts every page to just negative or just positive reviews. Easy to forget this is on, if numbers look unexpectedly low, check this toggle first.

Search

Type a SKU, ASIN, or part of a product title into the search bar in the top bar to find a product instantly, from any page. Selecting a result jumps straight to that product's Drilldown page.

Overview page

Sync status - The row of small badges at the very top shows how long ago each brand's Amazon and Okendo data last successfully updated. Green means recent, amber/red mean it's been a while, worth a look if numbers seem stale.

AI Snapshot cards - Pre-generated summaries of what customers are saying, refreshed nightly, so they load instantly rather than being computed live.

Boveda / Vivi Site Reviews - Testimonials submitted directly on your own website (not Amazon or a synced product review), shown separately since they aren't tied to a specific SKU. Respects the same Brand/Source/Date/Pos-Neg filters as everything else.

Review volume & Avg rating by brand charts - Trends over the last 6 months, respecting whatever Brand/Source filters are active.

Products by review count table - Your top products by volume within the current filters. Columns:

  • Brand - which brand this product belongs to
  • Product SKU - click any row to open that product in Drilldown
  • Source - Amazon, Okendo, or both if the product is matched across sources
  • Neg % - share of 1–3★ reviews in the current date range
  • Trend - compares Neg % in the current period to the immediately preceding period of the same length. ↓ (green) means Neg % improved; ↑ (red) means it worsened. Not shown on "All time" since there's no prior period to compare against.
Product Drilldown

Get here fastest via the search bar in the top bar, or pick a product directly from the dropdown selector (searchable by SKU). Either way, you'll see everything about that product in one place: overall stats, a 6-month rating trend, star distribution, top issue categories, an AI-generated "Loved features" summary, and the raw review feed (toggle between Negative-only and All).

If a product has both Amazon and Okendo reviews, the hero area shows a separate count for each source (e.g. "AMAZON: 950 · OKENDO: 45") rather than one combined badge, useful for knowing where the volume is actually coming from.

An "Amazon Signals" card (Vine reviews, helpful votes, review countries) only appears for products with Amazon reviews.

Issues & Trends

Surfaces the most common AI-tagged issue categories (e.g. product quality, shipping, unmet expectations) across all products within the current filters, along with how each has trended over the last 6 months.

Social Sentiment (Reddit)

Tracks conversations on Reddit that mention your brands, outside of formal reviews - currently covers Boveda, with Vivi and Skipper planned. AI classifies each mention's sentiment, whether it's genuinely about your product (as opposed to a competitor, a generic mention with no brand named, or an unrelated/off-topic match), and whether it seems to need a response.

KPI cards - Total mentions, the share genuinely about your own brand, the share with positive sentiment, and how many are flagged as needing a response or follow-up.

Mentions feed - Grouped by Reddit thread: the original post (when it's the one that matched) leads each group, with its comments and replies indented beneath it, so a conversation reads as one connected thread rather than scattered individual entries.

Filters - Only Brand and Date range apply here. Source, Vertical, and the Pos/Neg toggle are hidden on this page since they don't correspond to anything in Reddit data.

Frequently asked questions
Why does a product show reviews from both Amazon and Okendo?

Some products are sold on both Amazon and your website. When we recognize a product as the same physical item across both, we combine its reviews into a single line/product view so you see the complete picture rather than two fragmented entries.

What does "Trend" actually measure?

It's a real period-over-period comparison of Neg %, the current date range vs. the immediately preceding range of the same length (e.g. this Q vs. last Q, last 30 days vs. the 30 days before that). It is not a general "how is this product doing" indicator on its own, check Avg rating and Neg % alongside it.

Why don't my numbers match what I saw last time?

Almost always the date range or Brand/Source/Pos-Neg filters. These persist as you navigate between pages, so a filter set while looking at one product can silently apply to everything else too. Check the top-right controls and the sidebar filters first.

Some reviews show "Amazon (legacy import)" as the reviewer, what does that mean?

A number of Amazon reviews were syndicated onto the website review system in the past. Where we could confirm they were already counted as a real Amazon review, they were removed to avoid double-counting. The remainder, genuine historical content we don't have anywhere else, were kept and correctly attributed to Amazon, but without a real customer name since the platform only ever gave us a placeholder.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Click the message-bubble icon in the bottom-right corner of any page. It opens a short form, no need to go through Settings.

Backlog

What's planned next, roughly in the order we're tackling it:

  • Expand Reddit sentiment monitoring from Boveda to Vivi and Skipper
  • Broader social listening beyond Reddit, including TikTok and Meta
  • Competitive-gap detection - surfacing conversations where competitors are mentioned but we aren't
  • Continued tagging of the remaining products that don't yet have a Vertical or cross-source match
